Being a huge apreciateor of nature on a whole, I am particularly drawn to the inspiring yet vulnerable ecosystems of the Baltic Sea. My work involves sea water, plants, and other samples from the coastal line, blending artistic expression with ecological exploration. Participating in art residency programs at BKN, Sweden in 2021, and Artele, Finland in 2022 provided extended periods for creative experimentation and reflection on identity-related issues while in Baltic countries.
This ongoing project, rich on eco-systemic exploration and personal reflection, aims to foster a deeper understanding of environmental challenges, emphasizing the intimate connection between artistic expression, scientific inquiry, and the shared identity of Baltic Sea inhabitants.
